Our Heavenly Father,
We pause in the midst of this festive occasion, mindful of your guidance in our lives.
Lord You know full well how we feel,
hearts pounding, adrenaline pumping as we enter this rodeo arena. We as cowboys are fully aware of the task ahead as You did on Your journey for us.
The only favour we ask is your protection over us and the animals we ride so that we may continue to compete not just in this arena but also in life's arena.

Help keep us humble and honest Lord always knowing that life is a gift and we trust, when we enter into our last ride in this life, the gates will open and You as our last judge will tell us that 'our entry fees are paid'.
