Psalm 91
We have been praying this scripture over our wonderful pastor for healing. When I heard the news that a dear friend of mine was given not so good news the Lord said go and paint for them both. As I started with the down strokes of yellows and pinks I felt this was God's glory and healing, raining down, then I to started to paint the purple and realised I was painting wings, God said you are painting Psalm 91.In Ps 91:1. Tpt. 'When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.' Enthroned means one seated as royalty, purple represents royalty. As you look at the angel wings they have been painted as the underneath of the wing as though they are about to cover, protect, shelter. They are massive wings, shields to protect.
Ps 91:4. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
Every feather has minute detail just as the Father knows every detail about us and cares deeply.
The figure is Our Father, our refuge, he is inviting us into his loving embrace. He is in the distance but the lower part of his robe is at the forefront, he goes before us in every circumstance.
